Senate women take floor to speak about domestic violence (because laws are no longer intended to fall on all, just certain voting blocks)

from Under the Dome blog by francoordonez:

Senate women take floor to speak about domestic violence:

U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan joined five Senate women who took the Senate floor this afternoon to promote passing the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act. The legislation is intended to help law enforcement combat domestic violence across the nation.
Hagan said passage of the legislation is critical to the well being of women and families.

Pandering to voting blocks creates legal inequities between between what would and should be equal members in society.
