ObamaCare Trial Will Not Be Televised:
Just in from The Hill:
The Supreme Court on Friday rejected calls to allow television cameras into its chambers during arguments over President Obama’s healthcare law.Darn it, we don’t get to see the Obama administration lawyers showboating for the camera, which might have been enough to turn the Justices’ stomachs (it would turn mine).
The court said it would release same-day audio recordings of the arguments, scheduled for March 26-28. It cited the “extraordinary public interest” in the case, which could lead to President Obama’s signature domestic achievement being struck down in the midst of the campaign season.
I recall listening to the arguments live during the Bush / Florida mess. It was riveting, yes riveting. Too bad it won't be live this time.
