When the President Says He Said Something Else, He Said Something Else

Yes He Did:
“He (Obama) did not suggest — did not mean and did not suggest that … it would be unprecedented for the Court to rule that a law was unconstitutional,” Carney said Wednesday.
But actually Obama suggested precisely that when he initially said:
“I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”
The Court has struck down such laws many times in its history and such rulings are ipso facto on Constitutional grounds. With few exceptions, where there is no Constitutional issue, the Court has no authority to act.
Carney's explanation is non-sensical and makes he and the president look ignorant.

This has to be the most infuriating presidency for all of Americans.  If there are two positions on a topic Obama will claim 3 and disavow 5, then later claim 5 and disavow 3 because he knows the press will let him do so.
