from Financial Sense by Michael Shedlock:
Spanish Economic Drama Unfolds:
Spanish unemployment is up for the 8th consecutive month and may soon top 25%. Moreover, revenues will drop substantially. There is no way Spain can meet its deficit targets.
It's been frustrating to watch the European experiment in top down economic control fail and witness our economic "betters" not learn from it here. They continue to claim more spending is the answer despite the fact that it has done nothing for Greece, Spain, Belgium, or Europe as a whole but weaken their nations and lengthen their misery.
