Rockingham County residents get chance to speak on landfill proposal:
Residents will get another chance Monday night to speak about a plan to let a private company run Rockingham County's landfill.
The hearing will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Rockingham County Governmental Center in Wentworth. Representatives from Oak Ridge-based PBK Holdings and Advanced Disposal, the companies seeking the agreement, will answer questions about the proposal.
