Race, Authority, Confrontation, and America
from Daily Pundit by Bill Quick:
[...]
Far too often the default black reaction to any authority is confrontation on the basis of perceived racism, whether the racism exists or not. This is a self-reinforcing process – the confrontation results in authoritarian blowback, which is then taken as evidence of further racism. And the authorities come to regard any interaction with black people as potentially dangerous and confrontational, and react accordingly. And so the cycle continues.
