NAACP announces voter registration drive for N.C.:
GREENSBORO (AP) — The North Carolina chapter of the NAACP is focusing voter registration efforts on the state's places of religious worship.

The group plans to announce Tuesday in Greensboro a campaign aimed at getting 1,000 churches, temples and mosques across the state to register all of their eligible members to vote.
