Michigan State Rep Lisa Brown Continues Still Unable to Se Beyond Her Own Genitalia...

from The Lonely Conservative

Michigan State Rep Lisa Brown banned from speaking on House floor fights back by performing The Vagina Monologues on Monday morning:
Daily Mail reports a Michigan lawmaker banned from speaking in the state Congress for using the word 'vagina' is set to fight back with a dramatic performance.

Lisa Brown will join other female legislators in performing notorious play The Vagina Monologues on the steps of the state Capitol in Lansing on Monday.

The play's author, Eve Ensler, who will also be present, described Ms Brown's treatment by her House colleagues as 'a repression'.

The Democratic state representative has defended her use of the anatomical term, saying her remarks were 'clearly appropriate' and did not justify her being banned by the Republican House leadership

Not only is that an accusation of rape when there was none, it was quite off topic as Brown's Va-Jay-Jay, despite what she might otherwise believe, does not deserve center attention on the Michigan floor and clearly was not on the agenda.
In essence, Brown sexually assaulted every individual she directed her words toward ... and when one has the Michigan house floor that would be every resident of Michigan.
and:
She referenced her personal genitalia as though it were of interest to others. Then she said ""no" means "no"", a phrase most often associated with a woman's right to reject sexual advances and frequently used as a line demarcating courtship from rape.
Not only was her reference to her personal genitalia as much sexual assault as when a male references the same, but her accusation of rape on the Michigan house floor was uncalled for.
Reread her statement:
I'm flattered that you're all so interested in my vagina, but 'no' means 'no,' " said Brown, D-West Bloomfield.
and:
It truly speaks to liberal immorality that democrats in general, and liberal women in particular, objectify women to such a degree that they can tolerate Brown's abysmal behavior toward herself and women.
I'd like to think she is more than her vagina, but that becomes difficult when she, herself, appears unable get beyond her own genitalia.
And it is truly surprising that more appreciation is not directed toward those who would remove the megaphone that is the house floor from any individual directing such a lack of respect toward self, women, others and life.
and:
Brown claimed rape and objectification by those who disagree with her objectification of the unborn. But defending the liberty of others is not tantamount to objectifying women and certainly is not equivalent to rape. For Brown to claim otherwise is not only delusional and offensive, but unbecoming of a representative.
and:

Protecting the liberty of the unborn and speaking for the dead that result from individuals more interested in their personal anatomy than the liberty is not indicative of a focus on anything but liberty lost.
For example:
If I were to create the right to force you to argue my perspective but you wished to protect your free speech, would it be rational for me to argue that you had an unwarranted focus on my vocal cords?
