Obama Administration Seeks to Make American Businesses Subject to International Law:
Most important story of the weekend, at Ulsterman's, quoting directly from the administration's steering document:
“Under the agreement currently being advocated by the Obama administration, American corporations would continue to be subject to domestic laws and regulations on the environment, banking and other issues. But foreign corporations operating within the U.S. would be permitted to appeal key American legal or regulatory rulings to an international tribunal. That international tribunal would be granted the power to overrule American law and impose trade sanctions on the United States for failing to abide by its rulings.”Obama is determined to give away your rights as citizens, even as he demagogues the Supreme Court as unelected, even as he makes you subservient to unelected bureaucrats in the EPA, HHS, and elsewhere. This presidency is a monstrosity of abuse.
We fought as a nation and individuals gave their lives so that we could be free of external un-elected rule. How unAmerican does one have to be to ignore that history, that sacrifice?
